The most underrated exotic hand cannons in Destiny 2. I’d love to see Sunshot get it’s recoil fixed, and maybe more range/aim assist? Lumina feels like it has no range! Shoutout to Crimson! I wish it was just Red Death lol..

Sunshot is soo underrated....36meter damage falloff distance.FOR A 150 👀...the potential is there...that recoil pattern is almost like a 120 with how hard it kicks...

Been using Sunshot after warming up with a 180 just for funsies. Sunshot feels great. Really it has pretty much everything you'd want on a handcannon, with Explosive Rounds being a sidegrade equal to Rangefinder. Even the 60 AA stat is a bit of a mind trick, since Sunshot makes up for it by having top tier stats in the other departments. The real issue with it is how it blinds you. Yellow aim point, yellow brackets, yellow muzzle flash, yellow explosive bullets, paints your target yellow... Even the damn chamber glows bright white. If the aim point was a solid violet or blue, it would be dramatically easier to use with that change alone.

Glad to see you repping Sunshot. I feel like it could dominate with just a few tweaks (you mentioned the recoil) Legitimately one of my favorite exotics, looking forward to when they add the ability to scorch players with kills in lightfall

The recoil is really really bad on it. Even if it was only reduced by 25% that woudl make it so much better. IT really difficult to land consecutive headshots if the enemy is moving any decent amount as it takes time for the gun to settle.

Sunshot is my favorite exotic in the entire game. I don't use it as often as I should but its the coolest looking and is insane in both PvP and PvE. However Lumina is probably my most used PvP exotic. Seriously slept on in both PvP and PvE but mostly PvP and I think that is because people don't know how to juggle the perk. Its pretty simple. Shoot gun. If have noble round hipfire at nearest ally. If see red run to red. If have noble round don't hip fire. If not do whatever. If there is ally near red hip fire at them then shoot enemy. Its sounds like a lot but its not. Lumina has insane aim assist. The range is not bad at all and the handling is decent. Its just all around good. Its like an exotic dire promise that gets a stupid strong damage buff after a kill.

You want an underrated hand cannon? I got you fam: ancient gospel, rolls slideshot and rangefinder along with eye of the storm rangefinder, both of those rolls are fantastic. I currently have an eye of the storm rangefinder roll with accurized, smallbore with stability MW. I know people don't really want to do garden, but there's some amazing weapons in there that are worth the trouble 💯

Why didnt frost use boots of the assembler with lumina, as a lumina main im hurting inside. Boots of the assembler healing projectiles spawn noble rounds after a short delay when they reach a teammate

Of the weapons in this I love lumina, it’s just better rose! Other than that Ruinous Effigy is my fav exotic in the game, super fun in PvE and when you block a shotgun shot and beat the guy into the wall with the purest form of the colour purple, or bait 3 people into a 1-shot DUNK, is so goddamn fun! Not to mention its gonna be getting suppression on the slam in Lightfall so popping off with it and then getting a super shutdown if they try to ult you is gonna be oh-so-satisfying!!!

Lumina is super underrated in pvp, easily has my highest kill count of any of my HCs. I love Sunshot but, the recoil is hard to control on console. Still haven't gotten a single Rose with Explosive Payload. Hell, finally got one with vorpal. Deleted it cause it was a terrible roll.😔

How did we end up with you in our lobby? I dont fully understand the matchmaking for comp. I thought it was primarily going to be a ranked based system.

Comp still matchmakes on the old comp system, which was designed to keep your win-rate around 50%. So it doesn't matter what your rank is you can face anyone in any rank.
