I butchered a goat with Nessmuk knife, it worked great. I'm glad to see you making these kinds of videos too. A note on the design of the knives you are cranking out: the peak of the clip on the spine--or whatever we are calling it--should it be more rounded?. In my experience, this aids in unzipping and any other cuts where you don't want to pierce what's underneath. It might still work with the straighter 'clip' but I'd think the round would make the operation a bit more ergonomic and give you more wiggle on the angles you have to hold the knife.

Man, that was a tough hide to peel! Been awhile since i had to do that. Watching you reminded me of the aching slippery fingers trying to pull on that hide. So much easier fresh. Can't always do that though. Cool to see the knife in action. Im glad to hear they are selling. Thats great. Hadn't heard of the circle app before. Sounds interesting.

It’s funny how regions are different in approach. In my whole hunting life (Wyoming 68 yrs) I have NEVER skinned an animal tied head up!😳😂 I never would have even thought of it! Fresh is far easier, and a Nessmuk is a really good too for it. Others are the Green River Hunter and Sheepskinner. And you’re also right 10-15 minutes about does it. Hope your deer is good!

Great video. Great job. So cool .That's one way of harvesting a deer. I hope your truck is ok. Must have gotten your heart beat going . God bless. From Glenn CATT. In Massachusetts. Oh you should take some meat cut it up like steak tips to make a sandwich. You need one onion, green and red and yellow peppers. 1/4cup to 1/2cup of masalas wine . And a wok or frying pan will work. Cook it all up put on a good Portuguese roll. And enjoy. Great stuff.

If ESEE sent me one I may consider it but I really love how this reproduction made by Holter Ironcraft performs. It's lightweight, real stag handle, and the edge only needed stropped today after skinninf, portioning out the large cuts, and today final processing both of the hind legs...that's pretty impressive.
