Also, wish you'd done an example of using images too. I'm a bit confused about what kind of field I should add to my image media bundle. A normal image field? I've been a Drupal developer for many many years but this new approach seems really wacky

Weird. Media types doesn't come up for me, only media bundles. Also the field type doesn't show up. Am I doing something stupid? Appreciate the video/blog post nontheless!

Just realised I'm an idiot and not using the dev releases (crying with laughter emoji)

Actually no, that wasn't it. I uninstalled all the modules, then enabled media_entity_twitter and it worked like in the video. But if I do it with media_entity_image, it requires the media_entity module, which does a whole different thing to the twitter one and basically breaks the core media stuff. So I'm flummoxed.

Hi Maffoo. All of this is still "experimental" so some feature will change and some features don't quite work yet. For example, the images won't be integrated with Media until Drupal 8.5.

wow... once again drupal has disappointed us all.... I love drupal, but wtf is this... even if the media tweet didn't need to be created manually, you would still have to attach a tweet to the content manually, its like 7 extra steps... what a strange way to handle media in an age where everything has APIs
