Using the Nugget Finder 12x7" XCEED coil with the Minelab GPX 6000 Metal Detector - Part 2

I have a question for you, I have an old Minelab xt1700 that has been in the shed for years not been used, would any of the modern day coils work on this detector? and could you suggest what would be suitable. Cheers Robert Vict'

Hi Robert, generally speaking detector coils are made / wound specifically for the model of machine they are intended for- for eg a coil for the Equinox will not work on a GPZ. Some coils will work with several models as in the case of the old XT machines and the Eureka. These days sadly as the Eureka and XT machines have been out of production for many years, there are no coils currently in production that will work with them.
