The big ones are closer to arachnid titans and those are the kind of bugs you want to be using heavy armor against, like the tanks, your rifles are no more better than automatic BB rifles against those things, and yet you still seem to kill them through volume of fire alone. I feel like only a ridiculously massive bunker-buster ordinance scaled up to planetary size would be sufficient to defeat the arachnids on any planet. Any time they establish a presence on a world, that world would have to be considered lost, evacuated and completely disintegrated.

I've been enjoying all the Squad-Starship Troopers mod videos! Glad y'all recently got iron sights to work with and the orbital bombardments seem to be very effective when the bugs are clustered together. I played this but my PC keeps crashing after about a hour of shooting bugs! I have a pretty good PC too. But should I lower some options? Do this and that? Any type of help or theory would be appreciated. Because this is so much fun and want to enjoy more than a hour of it before my PC says F you and stops lol.
