Pyromancer is a fair value tower, good burn damage and cheap hidden detection. Golden pyromancer in my opinion is top 2 best golden towers, it has extremely cheap early costs and easily holds off early waves of any mode. (Pyromancer also has defense melting which is for enemies with the defensive stat, lowering the damage of your towers).
