When I zoom in to better see a narrow signal, when I try to fine tune it, it just moves the view around and does not alter the frequency. How can I make it alter the frequency while I am zoomed in a lot?

Yes. It's explained in plain language without being too "dumbed-down" or the use of slang or non-technical jargon. There are probably some things that weren't explained, but you probably get an instruction booklet, and there's book for just this device called, "The Hobbyist's guide to the RTL-SDR" on kindle or paperback.

I got all this stuff! I was not sure if NOAA reports are on AM or FM, but I guessed right. Even then, my local NOAA station at 162.500MHz does come in. All I got was noise, but my HT picks it up just fine. I even tried both sets of antennas. The worst thing was that the OTG Y cable I got doesn't charge the tablet OR connect the dongle! It must be totally defective. I had to use the non-charging OTG adapter, and run the battery down. does the charging OTG cable help the dongle work better? You must have a very place, noise-wise. All I get is noise on every radio (SW, ham, GMRS, FRS.)

The two smal arrows (usually on a blue button) will hide the menu bars on each side for a bigger view of the spectrum.

Assuming you login to both devices with the same ID the software should be transferable.

Love this app but I wish it had more features like being able to save to the SD card and not internal memory which for me it's limited. Also decoding of digital signals would be nice. My copy is the paid version.

just got a new sdr-rtl dongle a new OTG Cable in today sorry but its just blank software not working keeps looking for drivers when I switch from HackRF on my android tablet to my SDR- dongle nothing happens everything is new can anyone can help. I downloaded drivers and then software per instruction I know the dongle works fine got it working on Linux with gqrx.

I had hoped for some enlightenment but alas... I have used SDR# on my netbook and I bought an Android phone to see how well it works on a portable. SDR touch downloaded easily but the driver doesn't seem to be available. It tells me "waiting for download" and the "install" button remains grayed out.

I didn't know you can get an OTG cable with a charging plug. I use my Tab A tablet with a micro camera to look inside the car engine, so I need to pay attention to the battery level.

It must have been a temporary thing, I just looked and they are still there for me. I even upgraded to the most current versions.

@@dannygarden464 They are still there but have changed their names slightly. If you go SDR and then scroll to apps designed by Martin Marinov you will find them. Hope that helps.

I'm not sure why you left the bandwidth at 200 kHz for a nbfm signal. Much better audio and s/n at 15 kHz.

It doesn't support audio so you basically downloaded something you can't actually hear conversations with not really smart once I get the right USB plug that fits into the antenna I have I'm definitely going to make sure I can actually hear stuff or it's just going to be a waste and I'm not going to let that happen
