So lovely, love the Puffin flying straight with fish, agreed it's very challenging to track when they are flight straight at you and lot of fun. The More you miss it pushes us to try hard and once we nailed a shot it's thrilling. i believe that's the Passion in photographing what you like.

Wonderful video, I love watching your work. Your enthusiasm is contagious, and I know how difficult it is to photograph Puffins in flight as I have been to the Farnes many times, it is like trying to photograph a bullet in flight that deviates of a straight line without warning.😵💫

The best video I've seen in a while, and your images were so refreshing with the scenic shots showing the puffins' environment, plus you got that great in flight one with the many fish in its beak! Loved the music too - very restful and just right for your video. Well done and keep up the excellent work.

Stupendous video and absolutely wonderful images! I have one question: after the day was done and you had downloaded the images from that day of shooting how many images altogether bad and good did you take? My guess is about 1500. Take care and be safe out there....

We had our first visit to Mull in May along with a trip over to Lunga, amazing place. I agree you need to go with a plan of what you want to shoot especially when time is limited by having to get back on a boat. I also found it difficult getting flight shots there, so much easier on the Farne Islands. Were there plenty of Shag chicks around, loved seeing them nesting under the boulders right next to the path.
@mywildlifeimages3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ian, thanks for taking the time to watch this. I agree that it's easier on the Farne Islands too and I remember thinking that on the day. Take care, Rich 😊

If you're on the other side of the Atlantic, Elliston Newfoundland is an awesome Puffin spot. Don't even need a boat, walk right up to them. Used an R6 with 24-240mm & 600mm f11. Got some great results as an amateur (great for me anyway) photos.app.goo.gl/E92Eok31ZkLDFHoh6
