Don’t be fooled by kenleys weak power vs lefties. He’s a switch hitter (already an advantage) that for some reason was given the two best offensive quirks (dead red and breaking ball, piazza only has dead read) and is pudge defensively behind the plate (blocks everything, maxed arm, catcher pop time). Go against someone with piazza as your catcher who wants to cheese steals and you won’t throw a single speedy guy out no matter how perfect your release. There was a reason everyone was spamming him as their catcher during the OOP phase of s3. The guys swing is amazing whereas piazza has more of a closed stance which is ass. If they ever released an updated version of piazza in this game that doesn’t have such low power and pitiful defensive stats though this LA team would be even more ridiculous, as catcher is the only somewhat weak spot.
