Tiff, you’re so wonderfully original!! I did a page last week, using this same boy, but coloured some of his outfit - wasn’t enough of a change, and I’m not happy with the page at all - but your blind boy with the stitches is absolutely brilliant! See, another of those “well, why didn’t I think of that?” moments!! i have such a love-hate relationship with those dolls for the same reason! i wish it was easier to find vintage ephemera to use in journals (esp that doesn't break the bank!)... now i'll have to be brave and get out my sewing machine to alter them a bit - thanks for sharing that idea!

Every morning, when I turn on the computer and go straight to email...I scroll through the hundred new emails and just delete or mentally say, "I'll watch that later"...until I get to a SouthernGalsDesigns! I always stop everything and watch your video! I just love what you do!! (I've told you this several times) I liked hearing you say you don't like to use "ready made" art, someone else's art. (You said it better) I am just the same. I want to make all my own designs and paintings and drawings. And I never use words, either my own writing or cut out words from another source. I am different, too. I bet you would like my books and journals if you saw them! :o)
