a more practical way of getting rid of unwanted channels is going through manage channels and getting rid of stuff like russian,chinese,uk,etc,and just leaving the usa lists for example,makes way more sense than a favorites list

Once again, it's a person preference issue. This is a very versatile player, so you use the features as you wish. Most of my clients probably watch a dozen or so live channels, so using the favorites section makes more sense for them.

Even if you get rid of all foreign channels there are more than 200 USA channels are you going to scan thru all those channels when you probably only watch 10-15

Whenever you use an IPTV service you will need a VPN for peace of mind. I have heard if internet providers learn of you using such a service, they are within their right to lock your account/put restrictions on it. Some may give several warnings over a period of time before locking your account/putting restrictions on it.

Smarters is a good player. It just isn't as fast nor as versatile as Tivimate. I have clients who use smarters. They don't mind waiting for channels & VOD to download. It's a personal decision.

@RobertDevito-mh6fi the download speeds of channels and movies is with your iptv streaming service not the player most of these iptv services are using servers in other countries the time it takes to bounce from server to server before it gets to you determines the speed not the player and of course your internet speed has alot to do with it

Yes, the streaming companies generally charge a monthly fee. I stay away from the free services. Their quality isn't as good and they may not be paying copyright fees.
