Nice way to make a paper bag. Thanks for sharing it. ❤❤

Thank you very much, I'm glad you found it helpful - this was ages ago now, and I'm still using those bags I made that day, they've been very useful, and in fact I still use this method to wrap awkward shapes as well. My son always laughs at me because, although I love all kinds of crafts, and will spend hours making a gift, I really hate wrapping, so I do a dreadful job of it - but this way, it's more like origami than gift-wrapping, so I don't mind :)

Hullo, darling! I had this "blast from the past" come up on my feed today. Look at Our Annie from 2 years ago! (It is also interesting to see how much your background has changed over the last 2 years. I am looking at your shelf and table.) You have accomplished so very much and we just adore your bones 🥰 I really enjoyed this and I came away inspired to go through my stash and make some of these lovely ideas. Thank you, darling girl! Love and Bless oxox EDIT: my Gran used to call me "Clever Boots" when I'd done something clever....I could hear her voice in my head whist watching this. LOL

thank you so much Jo! They're really handy - I'm still using that stash I made during this video, also it's quite a relaxing process which you can do while you're watching or listening to something else, which makes it a winner for me :)

Hi Gaby, thanks for wading through some of my misty past! No, they're really easy once you've done a couple honestly - I'm still using these for gifts and things, I had a LOT of paper! :)

What crackin’ ideas! I’ve looked for the link you mentioned but I’m not sure you included it please could you send it as I’d love to see how to make the albums. I’ve not got as many papers as you as I’ve only been getting into art properly for about 4 years but I do have quite a few thicker papers that you mentioned that I know I’ll never use. I used to go with a load of pals to a scrapbooking weekend every year so I collected them for those trips but really I’m not a scrapbooker I just love the weekend so when I’m home the papers get abandoned. It would be good to try and use them for something. Just wanted to say that I appreciate your lovely nature and the way you present your videos. Such a nice easy to listen to lady. Your posts are a life giving treat.

That's so strange, I typed up a reply to your comment and it's disappeared! You Tube weirdness :) Anyway, what I was trying to say was thank you so much for your support and kind words and how sweet you are. Sorry the link wasn't there - I have to add the links after I've uploaded the video and it sometimes takes me a while to remember! It should be there now, I hoope you enjoy it - sounds odd but I quite enjoy following it myself as I don't have to think it all through, just follow my own instructions. A lot of my paper is from scrapbooking weekends too, I wonder if we were ever at the same ones? Please let me know how you get on if you make a mini book, I'd love to see it xo

Perfect! New subscriber here. Yours is one of the easiest methods of making gift bags I’ve seen. Two good places to donate paper, scraps, markers, etc., you are drowning in are elementary schools and nursing homes (for their activities rooms). Looking forward to watching the other videos in your library.

Hi Sue, thank you for subscribing and I'm so glad you found the video useful. Great idea about donating the papers, hadn't thought of that. I hope you'll enjoy catching up on some of my older videos, there are a couple of mini albums tutorials I did a while back which are great for using smaller pieces of patterned papers - I still quite enjoy following my own tutorials occasionally, find it quite relaxing, that's probably weird eh?! :)

loved your ideas for using papers, but gosh the clanking of scissors and other tools on your glass mat is hard on the ears, might be just me but

Thanks for the feedback - yes, this video was made a while back and I've since done what I can to resolve this issue. Sometimes I use a different surface, also I have editing software that cuts out or softens those noises, so hopefully if you watch more recent videos you will notice the difference :)
