Thank you very much, Adele! Oh girl, me too! I picked up a few core kits and WAY too many value kits. I will definitely be doing lots of Pocketless pages to use them up!

Thank you very much, Joan! I will check out Stacy Williams, I'm loving pocket pages at the moment, but I go in rounds with it. I love it for a while and then get bored with it. My sweet boy is such a good big brother, he makes me so proud!

I have those cards! And now a great idea! Thank you, thank you! I don’t do pocket pages but have quite a few cards! Now a new challenge. Thanks again!

Thank you very much, June! Yay! This was such a fun layout to put together! Even if you don't cut out all of those triangles, you could definitely layer them across the back as whole cards!

I have boxes of pocket cards; my friends and I used to split the Core collections each taking 1/3 and still had too many! I love how you show ways to use them besides just leaving them in original form. This week I actually cut out a title and an embellishment from some and it felt great to use them up. I need to go back and watch your other Pocketless Pages videos now. Thanks for sharing. - Debby
@lauraalbertscrafts4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Debby! I understand completely! I bought a few core kits and was overwhelmed by having so many of the same card, so I switched to value kits and bought way too many! I am determined to use them up because I don't really like rounded corner cards in my pocket pages anymore, but I can't bear to throw them away!

Beautiful layout! Caught up?? 😅 I have my moms old pics of my childhood, her childhood and tons of my kids & grandkids. No way will I ever get caught up in this lifetime! And there’s no way I could ever make it through my stash. Way too much. Love how you are using PL cards. I have so many. Glad I found your channel.

Thank you, Pam! I mean “current.” I hear you on the old photos! So many to still scrap!

Loved what you did with this layout! How you created an entire strip of those triangles up top, and using the words to frame out the 3 pieces at the bottom. I too have tons of PL cards (particularly core kits) and have begun cutting pieces out of them. But I'm now going to go back to those very busy cards and see what can be fussy cut to use as a background. Thanks, Laura!!

Thank you, Kim! Yes, I am determined to use up these older rounded corner cards especially and the easiest way I've found is cutting them up!

Thank you, Sally! Yes, I focused more on the colors of their clothes rather than the toys and it made it easier for me to scrap the colors I wanted to!

Thank you, Colleen! I have so many PL cards that I could never do enough PL pages to use them up! This is such a fun way to get them used on layouts and I have a playlist of these types of videos if you want to see more! kzbin.info/aero/PL9yYB-IdwKi0QnglB4c-ActCGpj7CYt1-

Thank you, Sandra! Yes! I have so many and most of them are rounded corner cards that I don't really like anymore, so I figured cutting them up made the most sense!

Have never done Project Life - but did a fair amount of pocket pages for those events that had a ton of pictures. However, I’m getting very bored with pocket pages & started to feel very “pinned in” by them. I’ve been loving to use my project life cards, cut-a-parts, and other journaling cards, to do grid layouts. Loving the look & finally using up my gazillion cards. I feel it’s so much more “customizable” and easy to come together.

Very true, Cat! I felt the same way with Project Life, especially with those 3x4" pockets. I have discovered that this was a lot of my frustration with PL. 3x4" pockets are not for me. I prefer the 4x6" ones. I am doing a lot of pocket pages off camera lately and really enjoying it! It will never replace layouts, but it's so nice to have some place for those silly pictures that maybe don't need a whole layout.

Love all videos you do. With pocket pages could you maybe record them then put a few together so its long enough to watch. I am loving this serious as I have never done project life but have lots of pocket cards to use up. Love this layout

Thank you, Bec! That's a good idea! Maybe double page spreads would be enough for one video a month. This is such a fun series to do, even doing pocket pages, I have way too many cards!!

I love this layout. I've also got lots of becky Higgins project life cards. I have both the core kits and value packs. Since watching you I've been fussy cutting them as needed as ephemera for my layouts. Actually the first layout I did a few months ago to get me back onto scrapping I used a whole bunch of PL cards in a grid as my background. I'm sure I got the inspiration from one of your videos.
@lauraalbertscrafts4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, Lindsay! Yes! I bought so many core kits and value kits when I first tried pocket pages, only to realize I didn't really like rounded corner cards. So, I've made it my mission to use them up any way I can and I find fussy cutting them and cutting them down into journaling spots the easiest way!

Great idea for a series ! I have a lot of project life cards. Why? I don’t know. I never did PL. I guess I thought I’d like to use them in pocket pages, but I don’t even really like those. Thanks for the ideas.

Thank you very much, Sandy! It's been a fun series so far! So funny that you bought tons of PL cards too! I went overboard when I tried PL a couple of years ago and I am determined to use them up!

Oh, Laura, what is that glue that you use? You make use of products that you have and they add so much to your layouts. I think you could use toilet paper and make an outstanding layout!!! Really like the end result of this layout.

Thanks for the feedback, Sally! That's a big reason I stopped sharing my pocket pages on KZbin a year or so ago, they just didn't get much interest. Which is okay! I don't mind doing them off-camera.
