Very interesting approach to frit, but I caught on quickly to why you did it that way. Those are beautiful pieces you made, I love the pattern on that Twizzle dichroic, I don't think I've seen that pattern before and I've seen a lot of CBS patterns, lol! Thank you for sharing, this was a lot of fun!

Thank you for really great vidoes. Can you post your firing schedules please?

I have a Skutt Firebox 14 kiln so tweak my schedules to suit that. I would recommend using Bullseye recommended schedules see link - warm-glass.co.uk/kiln-schedules-cms-74

Beautiful! I also have a Skutt Firebox 14 and have only used the pre-set programmes for full and tac fuse . Can I use the tac schedule as a contour fuse?
@fusedglassalchemy20123 ай бұрын
No that won’t work, I use the bullseye recommended schedule. You should be able to find on their website. If you are in the UK you can also find on Warmglass website. 😊

Really liked your work. Can you eat on this servings dish?? OR do you cover it with 1 top layer that is food safe?
@fusedglassalchemy20122 жыл бұрын
It’s just glass so food safe. Thank you for the feedback.

Loved the video! Did you clean the scrap glass before you thermally shocked it?
@fusedglassalchemy20122 жыл бұрын
No it kind of got a wash when it was quenched afterwards. Thanks for your feedback.
@fusedglassalchemy20124 ай бұрын
@@dorothywoods2541 no need as gets a good wash when it’s plunged.

Please can you tell me the temperature of the contour fuse. I have only ever done tack or full fuse. Thank you
@fusedglassalchemy20122 жыл бұрын
Hi Penny, I tweak schedules a bit for my kiln but would recommend you use the attached link for Bullseye glass: warm-glass.co.uk/kiln-schedules-cms-74 Have fun!

Are the ceramic tiles normal glazed ones and do they really go into the kiln? This would be a game changer as my fat fingers cannot fit around the kiln shelf and this would enable me to move stuff to the kiln without it collapsing Thanks so much. Videos are spot on and really informative p.s. Buying a pizza stone. Do you put the stone directly on the shelf or do you support it on kiln props? Thanks
@fusedglassalchemy20122 жыл бұрын
Hi Lisa, the ceramic tiles are just bog standard ones with kiln paper on top and I put them and the pizza stone directly on my kiln shelf, although it would probably be a quicker firing if you took the kiln shelf out when using the pizza stone but I find it a faff so leave it in. Glad you like the videos.

This really annoys me. There is no such thing as scrap glass! It can all be used and it all has to be paid for!
@fusedglassalchemy20124 ай бұрын
@@CJGPickle exactly, thus the reason for the video as people often ask for ideas to use their off cuts.
