I’m using Warbl within the Native Instruments ecosystem on Windows on laptop, and will also try it with the NI Silverwind woodwind emulator. Thx for the midi channel set-up information! I’m leveraging off using an EWI with NI. I’ve also linked Warbl wirelessly to Respiro and Garageband on iOS via the Yamaha MD-BT01 midi adapter - set-up was interesting, but it works! No latency issues unless paired with Bluetooth earbuds.

Is there a way to add some kind of a jitter delay for WARBL or soft synthesizers to avoid false triggering when switching between notes? Otherwise, you can hear small glitches with accidental notes popping in, for example around 5:44. That seems to be a problem with quite a few EWIs I've seen, but I've also read that some EWIs (don't remember Akai or Roland) have a delay setting to check if your finger was on a note long enough to consider it a MIDI ON message.

Thanks for this suggestion-- it's usually called key delay, and is something I hope to add in the next version of the firmware. There's an experimental version of the firmware that a user made last year that includes it, though I'm not sure what the current state is. It's mentioned toward the end of this lengthy thread on the WARBL forum: warbl.xyz/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=222

Interesting approach. I'm not a fan of the reduced output range. I do see that it gives more of a bagpipe-like response, but it removes almost all the possibilities for breath control and expression which is where the richness and nuance of these instruments lies. But I also don't use the whistle mode and overblow to reach second octave so maybe that's the tradeoff with that.

Yes, I agree-if you’re not using overblowing you don’t have to do this, and it then makes much more sense to have a wide dynamic range. I just wanted to illustrate how to get WARBL set up as easily as possible for most users, who do use overblowing, but I would definitely encourage experimenting with the input and output ranges. You can use the left thumb to control the register as an alternative to overblowing with many fingering patterns, which then frees up breath pressure to use for dynamics.

Is there an added value compared to appcordions celtic sounds module?

I was say that they each have their advantages. Celtic Sounds is great for a limited number of very realistic sounds sampled from real instruments, while Respiro is great for inventing "new" sounds that don't exist in acoustic instruments.
