Using WARBL with Sforzando

Very helpful, thanks! And then if you want one of the other instruments, just click the up and down arrows next to instruments, after uploading the file. He currently has 5 instrument sounds there - tin whistle, uilleann pipes, flute, highland bagpipes, and Scottish smallpipes.

when i clicked preferences, the warbl box was unchecked, and when i clicked the box a popout window said that the it was unavailable. does anyone knows how to fix this?

It may be because Windows doesn’t allow a MIDI device to connect to more than one app at a time, so if you’ve connected to the Configuration Tool you’ll need to close your web browser and then unplug/plug the WARBL before opening SForzando.

Is there an iOS version?

There’s not an iOS version of SForzando, but there are a lot of other iOS apps, depending on what sound you’d like. For tin whistle, Celtic Sounds MIDI Module and ThumbJam are great.

Just to add to this, there is now an iOS app called SoundFonts that works great and allows you to play any SF2 SoundFont including the WARBL one.
