Using Windsurf and Supabase to build a Twitter Clone

Honestly, I really like how you started struggling as you were moving forwards with the app. I really thought I was the problem and didn't know how to use Windsurf and Cascade, as I kept getting bugs and errors and unwanted modification or code deletions with it. I personally find Windsurf great and I use it on a daily basis. However, as the codebase grows, the AI really struggles to grasp the entire project and starts messing things up, like, A LOT. Modifying codes it shouldn't, deleting large chunks of your codes even if it is unrelated to what you asked it to modify. It is great knowing that behavior ain't because of my lack of skill, haha

Lovable for a beginner for sure! Windsurf is what you move your project into when you want to build out the backend more and use scripts etc.

Yes, this is because you are giving the AI your keys. But they use our responses for training data so there is the possibility that your keys are out there in the ecosystem/viewable by a human reviewing LLM responses etc. instead, add them to your .env/.env.local and then tell it what they are referenced as (ie. SUPABASE_ANON_KEY= {your-key}
