Isn't it easier to match based on the protocol or TCP in this case instead of excluding everything else?

Great video Dan! What about substituting "and" with symbols & or &&? Is that gonna work anyway? Learned something btw. Thanks, you great to follow
@danscourses5 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can use && See: www.wireshark.org/docs/wsug_html_chunked/ChWorkBuildDisplayFilterSection.html These are some cool references too: www.wireshark.org/docs/dfref/ and wiki.wireshark.org/DisplayFilters

Hi. I have a Wireshark file which contains IP in md5 format. I must find that IP. I tried a lot of filters to find that MD5 IP but unfortunately no success. Maybe You can help me?

Bruh you can just filter on TCP instead of using a NOT filter on every single type in the universe, also you can right click and use "CONVERSATION FILTER" boom. you'll be we winning.

He's doing it for practice (I guess).. to get familiar with all the protocols. Repetition is key to success.. In times when your brain doesnt want to "eat", you have to "force feed" it ;) .. Works for me.
