Yeah still doesn’t work for mine, only recognizes the non modifier controls and when in the other modes it still only does the control not using the modifier

Thank you for this, one thing I encountered is that I had to disconnect my X56 and reconnect them for DCS to see the switch properly, I guess its finicky like that but nevertheless it worked after perfectly

Sounds like a great solution, as my friend has the X-56, and I'm trying to help him get it set up. The problem is, you never explained where you open or download that software from. You just opened it on your PC as if it's already magically there. Logitech is of no help on their website. Can you provide details for that?

The trouble with this is it's far easier for me to use the pinkie lever as a modifier key.

If not working like said in the video for me. BUT for all of you i have a solution that work for me. It's only working for me after i saved the profile into a new one and select it in the little menu on the bottom left of your windows menu that show your hidden software active on your PC. Hope it will work for you !

Thanks a ton..quick question tho'...i have 2 (TWO) Instances of X56HOTAS that installed ( was guessing 1 for joystick..1 for throttle...Bothe seem Identical ( have uninstalled....reinstalled get same 2 Icons in sys tray ) So....do i have do do this in BOTH of them?? Or just 1 of them??? like so many other I Also Hate the Logitech software BUT...if it tripples my button mapping...Lol So be it. thanks for any input on the 2 instances of the software it installed

Seems wrong to me. It might be that auto start is somehow starting 2 instances? Maybe try uninstalling and re-installing. Not really sure.
