Literally, the characters of Hum kahan ke sachay thy are so real. You can see the original society in the drama. The reason everyone is so much into this drama is because whatever we say that hero should be perfect or so, the thing is even the good person has demerits in his personality. I'm not justifying Aswad but I'm very happy that our drama industry has produced such a real material. I waited for so long for such real material. Salute to Humera Ahmad. There is always something to learn through her characters. And I loved that Usman Mukhtar played this role.

I'm surprised to know that he was criticised for Sabat whereas I have always liked his acting n Dr. Harris ka character was actually good, although her wife being of that mindset he accepted her etc, anyway overall I enjoy watching his dramas now, I mean he selects good project, I'm watching Hum Kahan K Sachay hai also cz of him n Mahira khan n the other cast ofcourse. His acting skills are just top notch, n I agree to him Fawad Khan is a fab actor, even Zahid Ahmed, Billal Abbas, Ahmed ofcourse - Parizaad main bahot achha character play kiya hai, n there are so many other stars we would like to see, bas content achha ho toh dekhne main maza bhi aaye, Pak industry needs to make some good content with such kind of talent.

I don't know about others, but I love all the characters played by Usman Mukhtar. And Dr. Harris was really good, and nice type character. Even I used to wait for his scenes and I loved the chemistry of Dr. Harris and Meraal. The characters look like made for each other because he was such a good man whose love was never over even Meraal don't used to return all of his sincerity. That's a true and rare love. Dr. Harris played a great role in development of Meraal character. Because she learned everything by his love, and at the end Meraal was not a villan character anymore. Its not that easy to deal with persons like Meraal but Dr. Harris did it very well. Oh man !! such a good character Dr. Harris was. And the character of Aswad is important as well. Its not that Aswad is perfect but Aswad is such a natural character, because naturally we all have merits and demerits in our personalities and no one is perfectly good or bad. Like our dramas shows that the hero is perfect and he has no demerits in his personality. I think this character is most important to make our society understand that stop the idealism and you can be wrong and you may not always be right. Our society is so judgemental. Through a hero character, it is portrayed well. Even I myself learn a lot. I learned that even I may be a good person or heroin of my life but it doesn't allow me to be judgemental on others character. Because at the end, we all are human beings. So, inshort I would say that Usman Mukhtar is such a talented and skillful actor. May Allah bless him. Good job Sir.👏 MashaAllah, all of your character you played has their own charm, and they played very important role.

I m really grateful to hear that Usman himself took the initiative to change the physical abuse shown by the male characters to the heroines in the form of slapping hair pulling and pushing It's so back dated and it's done so casually and done to death in Indian and Pakistani serials ...so much so that I don't think in real life as well people hit someone so easily even in anger Usman said above that since this novel was written quite some time ago....it had scenes of Aswad slapping mehreen and a few other aggressive scenes and then he intervened and talked with umera the writer and Farooq the director and then suggested in finding ways to show anger WITHOUT TOUCHING MEHREEN.....SALUTE to Usman I m so happy the new actors are now trying to bring a change to the gheesa Peeta unrealistic over dramatic scenes we have watched since last 2 decades Inspite of being a poorly written character whatever classiness Aswad has is just coz of Usman and I m so grateful to him for that

Such a sensible and prudent person he is! I've not seen half of interview but I respect him for his stance on Aswad's character. I've read that novel. It's quite old novel of umaira ahmad. The story was difficult to digest back then; there's no doubt such negative characters still exist around us but the thing is writers sometimes exaggerate the situations. They exaggerate the evilness and goodness in a way that can't be generalised. It's good that they've made changes to script. I recently read this novel again and felt suffocated . it's not one of umaira's mature works. Aswad in the novel was not just toxic but a complete idiot in spite of being well educated. His characters was self contradictory which in real could be when a person is mentally sick having childhood traumas but he had a good childhood. Anyways I'm glad that host discussed aswad in detail. 👍
