Shabily is one of the very top talents in the world - a highly dangerous skill-set, which shows just how masterclass Usman is - the Khabib team (Islam, Usman, Umar, Ankalaev, etc) are just a completely different breed of human. Usman could beat any Lw in the UFC not named Islam.

Shabliy said it as well in an interview that the fact khabib came back to corner usman for this fight is because he knows how much of a threat shabliy was. When Khabib came back as a coach he said he will corner his fighters whenever they have an important fight. Khabib didn't think Islam needed him in the camp for the 2 fights with volk but he immediatly came back when it was dustin and shabliy because he knew how much of a threat they both were.

Shabliy beat Adriano Martins, Tofiq Musayev, and Patricky Freire previously, he is a high level opponent who had 9 fights wins streak. This was a great win for Usman, AJ McKee fight will be interesting as well.

Usman vs shabliy was the highest level of mma displayed in a fight since Islam vs poirier, it wasn't as exiting or spectacular but it was definitely on a semilar level of skills desplayed usman is the best fighter at bellator and the best 155er after Islam and the ufc should absolutely signe him or exchange some of their fighters with bellator to bring usman over to the ufc. The ufc did that with dj and askren. I say after 1 or 2 more years maximum bring usman over to the ufc.

Shabliy is a very dangerous guy, fast, explosive, slick, ko powerful, durable plus he is a very cerebral fighter, if he was in the ufc he would be top 5 no doubt, the way he dispatched tofiq was incredibly impressive especially knowing how much of a savage tofiq is. Shabliy hasn't lost for more than 9 years and he never been dropped or koed in his career , a true elite lightweight and usman dominated him for 5 round and even rocked him in the 4th. Now obviously usman is still young and he still needs to improve on a few aspects of his skills like his boxing, if he could reach at least Islam level of boxing he showed against Poirier it would be perfect. Islam was using all kinds of boxing techniques, combination and counters against Poirier, he was even using the pull counter several times successfully against Poirier. Being confortable at boxing distance will make even his body kicks and head kicks more affective.

It was a real tragedy how Dagestan was ravaged by COVID and how so many died including Khabib's father. Khabib was saying how the hospitals were completely full and bodies were piling up from the virus. The vaccine access would have saved so many of their lives. It is a shame that Americans were confused by misinformation and think the vaccine is a conspiracy. Regarding culture, they are very family oriented and respectful which transfers into discipline and having the proper mindset (they are more responsible). You can see this also with certain parts of Italy, the Middle East, and even in Japan. Also, American Christians that really practice Christianity have strong family values, tend to be disciplined, eat healthier (Loma Linda is a blue zone for example). It seems that people who actually follow and practice their religions whether that be real Christians or real Muslims, they benefit from great mental health, better physical health and succeed more with their families and what really matters.

But since you brought it up, did you know that fat elderly people who live in cold climates were at the highest risk of dying from Covid regardless of whether or not they were vaccinated? On the other hand, there were those people who took 3 Covid shots and still died from Covid. So is the vaccine really is the protector here? or maybe there are other elements involved ?
