I think it was a close fight but Usman won by a bit. I don't think this was a landslide victory. He took him down a few times and he performed well in clinches so he won. I'm a big fan of him and their whole team, Islam, him and Umar, and Khabib ofc. I think Usman is going to be a better fighter after this and next time paul comes for a title fight, insha'allah he finishes him.

Usman was more active and had the takedowns, making him more dominant overall. Paul provided a good challenge and did well, especially near the end but it was little too late. A rematch would be good to settle the score!

I fail to see the robbery. Usman literally won all rounds. Even the point deduction would just make round 3 a draw. Paul did amazing job with his takedown defence and his conditioning was better than usman, however usman was more active and did more while Paul was too conservative maybe that’s why he had so much energy left compared to usman who did a lot more

I was surprise to see Paul didn't check the kicks. I don't know how they made a game plan for this fight? Just by eating the calf kicks you are losing the points. MMA isn't about jabs and point scoring, it's about fighting and trying to win. Paul landed the more impactful strikes and had Usman reeling and broken from body shots. you think Usman evading exchanges and surviving with sloppy Thai clinches is indicative of a winning fighter?
