USMC FILBE Pack Backpack Review

This is is quick review of my new FILBE Large field pack in Coyote Tan color.
Here are the Specs:
Adjustable padded shoulder straps and waist belt
Load weight up to 200 LBs
Frame measures approx. 23" x 15"
Utilizes PALS webbing for attachment of modular pouches
Includes external frame with adjustable harness and internal radio pocket
Consists of two compartments separated by a shelf:
Approximately 5000 cubic inch total capacity
Main compartment: approximately 3,400 cubic inches
Lower compartment: approximately 1,600 cubic inches

I did 9 years in the Corps and am in the Army National Guard now. I like this pack way better than the Army's ruck

I have 3 filbe rucksacks and I assembled all 3 from scratch. And the way I did it was I went on KZbin here and looked up the marine Corp filbe assembly and they walk u thru it the whole thing. And u can pause or rewind rewatch etc. My 3rd filbe I customized by buying the tactical tailor malice frame, shoulder straps and waist belt all tactical tailor components. All made in the USA and customized. With the filbe there's issues I found out about. 1 when on the load shifts around and flops a bit when ur wearing it with weight mainly due to it being an external frame and how they designed the suspension system. Tactical tailor solved that for me. At least 80 to 88% better. 2. The waist belt for all soldiers tends to loosen up alot and often leaving u to constantly tighten it up. And I'm speaking of the factory filbe waist belt in ur video. Tactical tailor does not loosen plus TTs version of waist belt and shoulder straps are thicker bigger and more ergonomic. And the malice frame by TT is more ergonomic and lighter and stronger and won't crack like the original filbe frame when tossed around or in Cole weather. Cuz we know plastic and cold weather don't mix. I watched video on the maker of the frames a company called down east but their testing of the frames was horseshit and not realistic. 3 most marines now take off the plastic frame and toss it and put on an original Alice frame or the TT malice frame. The plastic frame had serious Trouble in real world applications and the belt wud loosen and shoulder straps wud loosen all the time on most filbes. So marines mostly do aftermarket customization. And also the marine Corp came out with a new plastic frame for the filbe after they saw it cracked from being dropped by soldiers and cold weather causing the plastic to Crack. They reinforced the original frame and made it tougher at stress points. But civilians don't have access to this new version of the polymer frame. Like I said I own 3 brand new mint condition filbes and 3 ilbes and 30 other packs but after I did a custom job using TT for my filbe it's now a complete favorite and a go to pack for me. I got this as my first ruck and I put it together myself and I will say it's a bit complicated but not too much so. I would say getting the frame is a good deal even if you don't run it a ton it keeps contents in the bag from digging into your back. I was probably going to take it on a hike or better yet possibly take it to play airsoft this weekend so I can run all my stuff at once with the bag and put the bag down as I arrive on the field we are playing on. I gotta get together a decent amount of stuff to finish the bag but it's better to start small then add the weight/gear as I get it.

Would you recommend this FILBE or MOLLE 2 for rucking?

I use the original frame as well as an Alice pack frame, with Molle shoulder straps and belt (more comfortable). The side sleeves were designed to hold a riffle

thats a ton of gear and you don't even have the sustainment pouches attached lol!
