Very interesting list. I love vanilla too and soft ones like u said etc. Wore Grand Soir for Xmas Eve and another vanilla Carner Barcelona El Born for Christmas both r almost gone tho. Really loved Musc Rav. too. Merry Christmas Eugen

For me a great vanilla( and perfume in general) is Korrigan by Lubin. Leathery, milky, boozy, super smooth and well blended, addictive. 5 stars from Luca Turin. You should try it

If I were a mechanic the last thing that I would want after taking a shower and applying my fragrance is to still smell like a mechanic 😂 When I work with grease, oils and solvents in the military I’d shower in Tide wash so that I could eliminate all traces of these odors (to the best of my ability).

I don't love wearing perfumes that have vanilla. Which isn't to say that I don't like eating vanilla. I think they're different experiences. I think you can enjoy eating something and not necessarily want to smell that way or walk through the world in that manner. I have no issue with the note inherently, but just how it works on my skin. It tends to dominate other notes and thus get sweeter for me in the dry down. I think where it works the best for me in terms of not doing that (out of the things I've tried) is Epic Woman and Rose Incense by Amouage where it stays complex and doesn't completely take over in the dry down. Black Tie by Celine seems interesting on paper but I haven't tried it on skin. That was kinda the story for me and Musc Ravageur. Looking forward to seeing what suggestions you may have.
