As a neutral football fan, I think that, of course, the US was disappointing in the Copa América. However, as far as I'm concerned, the US didn't play badly yesterday. They were beaten by Uruguay, one of the favorites to hoist the cup. When the US was indeed disappointing was against Panama. With all due respect, I think that despite the good level the Central American team has shown during the tournament, the US should've won that game. The US was knocked out by Panama, and that's why Team USA was a failure. First of all, you should beat weaker teams. That's why I have this opinion. Greetings from Argentina.

The funny thing about listening to U.S. analysts is that they don't realize how they sound after being grouped. They keep looking down on teams that competed better than them and insist on the "great talent" that their team supposedly has. What they don't know is that they're like the suckers playing poker. When you sit down at the poker table and you can't tell who the sucker is, that means you're the sucker. When the Copa America draw went down, everyone wanted to be in the same group as the U.S. to avoid having Argentina, Brazil or even Mexico as group headliners. This means that Uruguay, Panamá and Bolivia were ecstatic to be in a group with the weakest "top team" out of the 4 groups.

In order for soccer in the United States to develop, it needs to integrate with Latin America. American clubs need to compete in the Libertadores, so the domestic level of the players will improve, the level of competitiveness and the experience in the sport will be shared. The culture of the Libertadores represents the entire American continent, since we were all freed from European colonizers. The Libertadores means liberators, just like those who gave freedom to the United States. In terms of business, it would be great, because it would combine the business capacity of Americans with the culture of South American soccer. Then we would have a product as good and attractive as the UEFA CL. With the right investments, many young players would have the option of playing for clubs in the United States, receiving competitive salaries. Therefore, I think we should make efforts for this integration and leave this "Eurocentrism" behind. Given the current geopolitical situation, it makes more sense for the United States to integrate with Latin America in a healthier and better relationship for everyone.

Maybe the "front office" is the problem here, because they don't want to take risks and be on the chopping block for making risky moves or blowing budgetary numbers. After 2026 WC, what do you think will be a more important take away - 1) that we went out and spent the money to get the coach necessary to put the USMNT in the Best possible situation to have success in 2026, or 2) that we stayed within our budgetary restrictions and should be proud that we saved $1M or $2M to the budget and that it needs to strike a balance with our aspirations? We are so stuck with Christian & Bologan. They’re not consistent. 2. I think the coach needs to rotate players more often. Especially if the players aren’t playing. Easily and probably the smartest idea would have been to create a starting line up with players who play in the same club for dynamic/chemistry purposes. Reyna shouldn’t have started due to his transfer. Pepi & Tillman play together. Christian & Musah play together. McKennie & Weah play together. Luca & Cardoso play in Spain & similar system. 4-3-3 isn’t the formation for this squad. Pepi is the answer to play more attacking. Dumb to ask him to hold the ball and wait for players. Think we might benefit more from a South American coach than a European coach. Need someone that understands the concacaf/comebol style of play.

All Brian is good at is dodging questions. Literally every answer… “you know, Charlie, that is a great question… (spew nothingness)”

You can tell Brian was not having the criticism of Gregg and the team. Saying things like that being too harsh on Shaq Moore. Brian is a shill and shouldn’t even be on this show. Not sure why Heath still hasn’t been brought back. Shaq got bodied within seconds of coming on by Vinicius vs Brazil and almost gave up a goal. Talking about being the best 1 v 1 defender 😂

Brian, is Berhalter still the best coach for the national team, like you said? 😂

This equality $hit between the USMNT and USWNT is stupid. The WNBA doesn’t pay ANYWHERE close to within a fraction of the NBA because they just don’t draw ANYWHERE close to the attention of those teams!

McBride is such a company man and mate with the guys on top, so he is NEVER willing to criticize Berhalter and the guys that gave Berhalter the job. Always there to defend whatever Berhalter does. His comments regarding Shaq Moore made zero sense and it all reeked of desperation to defend Berhalter and how he has lead this team. McBride sounds more like a PR man from the federation than a pundit. What is the point of having such a "pundit" at all?

Everyone seems to think Renya is good on the right, he's not. it's better than him being an 8, but his optimal position is a 10. he can create manyu more chances from the 10 than anywhere else. when hes an 8 hes not up in the attack enough, when hes a wing he's not getting the ball and mentally checks out. either way we need a coach he is more technically and tactically oriented. GGG did a good job bringing these guys from kids to international quality players, but thats his ceiling. hes never going to get us over the next hump. hes simply not good enough

In no world would I have pick Shaq Moore to play USMNT. In fact, Dejuan Jones should have gotten a shot over Shaq

Get Brian McBride off this show. Thank goodness he is no longer on USSF exec board. Dude so unwillingly to hold this coaching staff accountable and trying to sell us on Shaq Moore lol😂.
