What a difference playing Marichio Pochattino's South American creative style of futbol rather than Berhalter ball.

Reyna on the left, a better passer to support the forwards, though Weah balled.

Clint Dempsey perpetually underrated even in historical retrospect. Neither Landon nor Christian has done what Clint did for as many years, nor at as high a level - either for club or country. Can't claim much of anything about his time at Chelsea was a success. Not so of Clint, a Fulham legend for all time

Watching this team flow in the first half was cathartic. I know it was a weakened Jamaica side, but Tanner Tessman was giving off Zidane vibes in the middle of the pitch. Hope he gets more playing time at Lyon or another side come the January transfer window. The biggest concern for me is how and whether the side improves with Balogun, Adams, Dest, and Reyna full healthy and available for selection (and, God willing, the day will come when we actually have that "problem" to deal with). I don't think we can fit all of the best attacking options in the side and expect to succeed by planning to outscore opponents 4-3 or 4-2. Who starts and who subs in? And I agree that Pepi is our striker unless and until Balogun takes it away from him.

Please! CP won a champions league, and has been a crucial part of several European campaigns. It’s not a discussion.

Jedi in the midfield against stronger teams - is it really such a bad idea? I think not. If Dest and Adams come back strong, and Scally's form stays up, I think we might just do ourselves a great service putting them all on the field at once.

Sorry but prime Dempsey is > Landon… Fulham was instantly relegated when they sold him.

I believe in free will and root for Chelsea and Portland (Portland resident with Timbers season tickets and attend a few Thorns games each year). Easier to root for the Thorns and the Chelsea women right now than the Timbers and the Chelsea men, although Cole Palmer is breathing life into the men's side.

That first Pulisic goal, Donovan never scored a goal like that. Donovan was all about tap ins, penalty kicks, free kicks, basically never those aggressive confident run of play well placed efforts

Nonsense. Watch his hat trick against Ecuador (the one where we wore the royal blue jerseys with white stripes. Also, Landon scored lots of goals in transition. Not just tap ins.

@ I stand by what I said. Just because he scored occasionally in run of play doesn’t affect my statement.
