I am a retired band officer who served in the RCAF CIC, teaching and leading cadets to be the best they could be. To this day, over 25 years later, I still feel the pride and power of their performances. This amazing performance of the US Navy Band stirs my heart and earns the greatest respect for their talent and devotion to excellence.

Literally. moved to tears. no crying no sobbing, in shear majesty of the aural crystaline beautiful sun by not only 3 lovey ladies with angelic voices, but the drums of perfect beat, and chorus like the rays of sun through a cloudy sunrise and the brass and winds painting the canvas for the voices. this. was. art.

The talent here is phenomenal! The performers were showing such joy too so that enhanced the performance! In high school, I had a recruiter call me and want me to enlist and be in the military band! I sometimes wish I had!

Perhaps some of th best audio mixing I have ever heard. The sound engineers for his performance are incredible. Of course, the entire band is just incredible.

They have probably the best equipment you can buy with money on site. But you can see some footage of this event, which actually does not sound quite as this recording (because live, probably). But I think they spend a good amount of time mastering all those microphone recordings afterwards. And they did a great job, I agree.

@@MrWalteez every branch has a band, it’s been like that since the US Marine Corps established their band in 1798. Might seem silly to you but it’s a rich tradition of our nation’s armed forces.
