USS Lexington |Corpus Christi, TX| Road Trip to Corpus- Day 1 4K(UHD)

USS Lexington was stop #3 on our rod trip to Corpus Christi. I was over mile away from the ship directly across.
Even though USS Lexington is now just a museum ship still puts out very strong magnetic signal interference. I had to cut the flight time over the ship short.
If you ever fly under the harbor bridge be very cautious. The entire time I was under the bridge I had no video transmission. After doing some research later I found out why. There is a ton of sonar equipment under the bridge to guide the ships. Be ready to fly blind if you go under.

awesome video! where were you standing to control it? and how did you know where it was aiming the camera from such great distances?

I don't know what the place I was at exactly(I'm not from around corpus). I drove all the way to the end of North Shoreline Blvd. There's parking lot there. I'm guessing it's in front of American bank center. I get a live hd feed from my drone to my iPad. That's how I know where to point or go. It's like flying a real helicopter but remotely.
