Can someone explain why Pepi isn't our clear #9? Maybe he hasn't played consistently with his club but he's great for us, scores goals off the bench or starting, solid hold up play and decision making... might not be as technical but he's been our most clutch striker for 3 years

That was one of the slowest paced, seemingly lazy games I've ever seen between these two teams. I understand its partially due to tactical changes but Jamaica usually likes to get out and run and this game was played meticulously through the middle by both in a low scoring jaunt.

I have to question if you even watched the match at all. He got the assist, his runs and layoffs were outstanding (he almost had a second assist...and should have) to Robinson a few minutes after the goal. And he helps to control play for the US when he is on the ball, making good decisions. And if you have watched any Milan games this year...he has been arguably (along with Reijnders I'd say) the most important person on the pitch.

*Jamica shouldve had a penalty, Reem used his arm to clear the ball, ref said he used his shoulder but in the replay you can clearly it was his upper arm and he made himself bigger swinging his arm up to clear it... but we all know they USMNT in the final at all cost* 🤷‍♂️😂

Usually the pen is given when the ball hits bellow the shirt sleeve, even in the European leagues it’s like that, actually I believe it’s a newer official rule if I’m not mistaken, But if we want to go back and see actual not called fouls how bout that when Busio was kicked on his thigh with cleats first. That’s a definite RED card, even the commentators didn’t understand why it wasn’t given
