Best rendition of this song I've heard yet. Between the soloist and the whole blend of the group...my eyes are watering here. I'm so proud of the audience members that gave a standing ovation. To be honest, only the wheelchair-bound should have still been sitting down after that.

its actually Ma. Asela Labaro that did the solo for "Ikaw", another seasoned soloist of the UST Singers before. Both have very amazing voices, hear their duet on KZbin, "Pie Jesu"

hi yoshiharu07, sorry for the late reply, this song was arranged by Sir Fidel. Its actually his favorite arrangement amongst all. The song came from the hit-broadway musical classic which was re-staged last 2003, still on broadway, which starred Antonio Banderas, Jane Krakowski, Chita Rivera etc. Its Anyonio Banderas who sang this song in the musical.

hi mayflower, actually, the group won 5 categories (sacred mixed, secular mixed, gruppo vocal, folkloric mixed and spiritual/jazz mixed) out of the 10 categories (the other categories were children, all-male, all-female, youth mixed, adult mixed) which the choir did not participate in.
