My first day at the Ali Akbar College in California, I learned this Raag from the students, who had learned it in the previous semester.

If there were no other reason to live, it would be worth living just to hear Ali Akbar Khan, in this endless stream of performances that Subrata Chowdhury is putting up here for us. Many thanks, Mr Chowdhury! I had never heard of this raga, but what a wonderful demonstration of the great man's skills, his invention and his wonderful sense of what is right. Could you please let us know where and when this was recorded, and who is the tabla player?
