His father was a magician with sitar.. And veena. Ustad Sharif Khan Poonchwale. Not to say this guy is not excellent. I've always preferred Sharif Khan saab to Ravi Shankar and Vilayat Khan sahibs... There is a certain "daring" in Sharif Khan sb that I admire... As opposed to the "calming" in the other two masters. All three are great. My personal preference is Sharif Khan sb. This guy's Dad.

It is. But surprised that someone who finds Rais Khans music limited is impressed by something like this which is beautiful but nowhere near the masters interpretation. On another note this is nothing like what his father used to play and clearly is influenced by Shahid Parvezs style of playing.
