to speak about music or about any artist one should have deep knowledge in classical music and listen tons of indian clasical music.Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali khan was a briliant singer with an amaizing voice and deep knowledge in indian classical music. Ofcourse that his voice was trained in the qawwali style and because of that he could sing in such a high pitch.But this doesn't make his singing less beautiful.His death is such a big loss for both pakistani and indian music.May God bless his soul!

I just making as imagination. No body should become angry please. There are any great singers in the world. Nus is the brightest resting in the heavens now. But he has created heaven to millions of us already. If he was born in India and lived in India, he should have earned billions and tons of money. His portrait should have been hung in millions of homes. he should have been decorated with 100's of gold medals, dozens of Doctorates from many universities,,,,,many of Presidential awards and what not? Any way this man of Afghanistan parentage made Pakistan more reputable than it is now. Some one there explain how he was/is recognised by Govt as well as people in the past and present context. I wish his creations are more publicised in India and people will go mad and crazy. Building a huge foundation in India is also possible. There are probably more fans of Nus Bhai in India than any where else. There are simply no borders for his fans any where in the Universe. He is THE brightest illuminating star and immortal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wish bng sorry to interrupt bro but before 600 years they came from Afghanistan and were settled in jalandhar it was when the portion took place Khan Sahabs ancestor decided to move to Faisalabad and settle over there... please correct me if I am wrong... I am a huge fan of Khan Sahab but The people just quarrel over here that he is from Pakistan India to take credit... it is The music and The clarity Of The performance which matters The most he or any other musician are not comparable in Their zone but yes Khan Sahab is great and absolutely mind blowing in his and any other zoner he is and will be in our heart and many others from all over The world not only Pakistan or India ☺☺
