Desh is a patriotic raga! In South India this raga is very popular! Tnjavur Sankara Iyer has a lovely song "Ramaname stuthi maname" in Desh!!

Dipankar Koley ji, the Sitar in this performance is by Harun Sitarmaker from Miraj. But currently guruji uses a Sitar made by Barun Roy, Kolkata for his performances.

Thanks Ankush Ji. I must tell this sitar sound is very pleasant for feminine/chanchal raags. I have rarely heard such a perfect sitar with not too bandh Jawaari but with so sweet sound.
