You can honestly see how much of a good thing dancing with the stars was for her. She's so radiant and really finding herself.

I find Jojo so inspiring. Such a joy seeing her grow into herself. It's interesting because she was almost sexualized as a child. I don't know whether it's appropriate to say that, but it happens all the time in dance. Little girls in skimpy outfits, performing provocative dances. And Jojo put it all out there. Then when she got a choice, she covered it all up. Even on Dance Moms, we got to see her beautiful heart. She's been a good role model. But she def stayed in the "kid role" for awhile. She was growing up, but because of her brand, she was acting like a character with how she talked, dressed, her hair, etc. How nice to see her become herself again. And herself at her age. It's like the merging of her brand vs her person. And she does it with gratitude and authenticity. It's a beautiful thing to watch.

I couldn’t put my feelings into words but you did! I watched her on dance moms but was too old for the kid stuff she went on to do. I watched this season just for her and I was speechless watching the natural progression of her maturing.

Just look at the expressions on those young faces and you see attitude and confidence. How do you think they feel about their costumes? Do you think that dancing in farmers' overalls would allow them to strut around the stage or bring out that kind of star quality? Of course not! I don't think that sexualizing or exploiting children is what is going on in the world of youth dancing. Sexualization is in the eyes of the beholder. The costumes themselves are neutral and have no opinion. It's the viewer who determines what they think and how they feel. Prudish people may interpret almost any kind of self-expression as inappropriate. Conservatives may think some costumes are okay depending on the type of dance routine but draw the line if they think that it's too sexy for an adolescent. Liberals may find it harder to limit artistic expression and define any opposition as selfish and opinionated. Indeed, how one feels about whether or not a child is being exploited depends on their own morality rather than the actual circumstances. Again, it's in the eye of the beholder. And anything can be sexualized even a potato sack full of spuds if the person is so inclined towards perversity...

Jojo you showed such strength from the very first day of Dance Moms to now and I believe your strength, your sense of self will be with you forever. Your brand is aimed at children but you also have a huge fan base with adults. You are a great role model and not many people can say that about famous people, it's a rare inner beauty you have (of course you look beautiful as well). You walk the talk and have stayed down to earth and of course I love your Mum especially since I'm a similar age to her. The bond between you both is undeniable and I appreciate having the chance to see it. My Mum passed away on Boxing Day last year (2020) and it helps to see the same bond as my Mum and I had. The closeness between a Mum and daughter is a precious gift. I know that the chance of you reading my message is low but I still wanted to tell you because you are an amazing person and I'm proud of you because you are what I call a change maker. A change maker is rare and it means that a person's actions, personality and humbleness touches so many people from all countries, generations without realising just how big a difference they have made. I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and that you get to celebrate it in a way that is special to your family. Xx

@robingarvin-mack3 жыл бұрын
Not _'rigged'..._ it is the show's flawed [viewer] voting system that did for her & Jenna. Had the result been based purely on the Judges' scores, they would have won hands down. But DWTS is a 'popularity' show, and it is the competing stars' fans _(most of whom know nothing about dance)_ who decide the outcome. JoJo was penalised because most of her fans are abroad (e.g.: I'm in England), and could not vote for her... and some of the other stars' US fans cheated by registering multiple email accounts to register on ABC's DWTS site and were therefore able to cast more than the 10 vote limit. As for being a 'professional dancer', JoJo's dance experience is as different to 'ballroom' & 'Latin' as chalk is to cheese, as indeed is Amanda Kloot's, who is a former Rockette and who used to be a dancer in musical theatre, and Cody Rigsby who used to be a dancer in music videos. *_R_* 😎

She doesn't do drugs...she has talent...she is willing to play "the game" for now. Victoria Justice has not really had much success and never "broke out" beyond her teen years. It is hard to see very talented kids that don't make it. Hollywood is a terrible racket. I only see Nickelodeon in her future. But, people here should realize -- it is a business.

I actually watched you grow up on this show a.k.a. dancing with the stars. You let go of all your child like sparkles color rainbows unicorns I get that’s who you are and what you’ve been about prior. But I was so proud of you for coming out of that and coming into your own as a young adult. I’m sure you’re afraid to let go of that because that’s where your money and everything else is from but I think you are far better in your grown-up state stepping away from your mom and all that she wants you to be a.k.a. pulling you back into your sparkles and just be you girl 100%! That is part of you 100% but it’s part of your past and you need to move forward with a young woman that you are and be loud and proud for who you represent.

She just made history as the first same sex couple on dancing with the stars so obviously it came up?? Being gay is absolutely not her whole identity, but it is PART of her identity, so she should be able to talk about it. Plus, as a young person and a role model for so many kids, it’s important to normalize conversations about sexuality so kids know they aren’t alone. Please open your mind. They talked about it for like 4 minutes. This was a far kinder response than you probably deserved.
