Ok, um...wow, I feel like I need to address the disappointing situation surrounding...the US Women's Soccer team not standing up for the national anthem. It's disgraceful and embarrassing to this American, and along with your constant whining about the contract that you yourselves signed, it turned me against the team. I found myself cheering hard for all your opponents last summer during the World Cup, and was thrilled when y'all got bounced. But, it's nice to see a young Christian girl has joined the team. I can't imagine the peer pressure you are putting her under to renounce her beliefs. Stay strong, Korbin. We support you.

No one is telling anyone to renounce their beliefs. It's about mutual acceptance. LGBTQ people should feel safe...just like anyone else. Our country has a lot of non-acceptance and discrimination in it, which is extremely uncomfortable to honestly talk about. I'm proud of the legacy of the USWNT for being willing to have those difficult conversations. They won equal pay and helped women around the world get opportunity to play.
