She totally deserves it. Even if the injuries weren’t a thing, she’s been fantastic. Plus the likes of Spain, Holland, England, etc haven’t faced her so she brings a whole new set of issues for them to deal with defensively. I think she’ll do us proud. Congrats, Savannah!

What a moment. There are literally hundreds of players in the US. They select the best of the best to represent our country. People can have arguments that there are other better players, that this other player should have gone and what not. It does matter, SHE is the one. So I am happy for her. Now go make us proud!!

Last I heard (early this year) she was rehabbing after back surgery. She's had a succession of injuries she's had to deal with these past few years.
