I was wondering if she looked up before she shot, because I didn't see a good replay. Horan on the other end didn't seem to have looked up at all to see where the Japanese goalie was and ended up kicking it right at her. So much for her being this smart and knowledgeable Football player. 😏 That should have been a goal for her or at least a better attempt, and the shot was weak.

You can immediately tell when a player is aware of when they make a mistake by their reaction like putting their hands on their head or some other type of gesture. You hardly ever see that with Alex and Smith which is an indication of their lack of awareness and lack of goal scoring skills.

Spain is strongest when coming down the middle. Same with Barcelona. They do best from outside in. If they can’t get in centrally they bring it down the flanks and cross it. But they aren’t good in the air or with finishing crosses. If you can force Spain down the flanks, it’s your best bet. I think they gonna beat us centrally. Bonmati, putellas both like to bring it to the middle. We really need a better replacement for Ertz.

Yeah, thats true midfield superiority of Spain is nightmare as fuck and I think Spain is like a double edge sword now, they press higher and they don't have the strongest defense. If USA can somewhat control the midfield(likely impossible)of Spain I think they can exploit their defense or use a fast long ball counter attack physicality in the flanks as their advantage I think they can score some goals.

I guess nobody taught you to use your brain so you can borrow mine. That angle is the perspective of the striker….it basically puts you in their position so you can feel the tension. Goalies aren’t expected to save penalties so there is less tension if you were on that side. But on the strikers side you can see how they strike the ball, how they run up, you can see the keeper and the shenanigans that they’re doing. This has been your free trial of borrowing my brain, next time you will need to pay a service fee.

Thank God she is finally out. The "woke" USA team will take some undoing but it has started with Korbin Albert. I am thrilled they allowed her to play. She brings back excitement to the game even if she is being reprimanded for what she believes in. I hope this new coach realizes the most important thing is to play soccer and leave political theater out of it. I am thinking about purchasing a #15 Albert jersey. Love her❤
