Emma Hayes won't sugar coat nothing; She's perfection and unfortunately, some of these players are skilled but it's not second nature when it comes to reading, passing, and creating for others. I would scrap everything after the Olympics and find players to include collegiate who fit the system and playing style. We were vulnerable for counters all game and trust me, Zambia, Australia, and Germany will take advantage of us. The only two player that's should be a lock are Girma and Swanson. Everyone else...needs some work.

I saw some passes that were off target, players not in position (or maybe thinking they should be positioned elsewhere), little sloppy details that when cleaned up could really improve performance.

The last 10 years, the other nations have gotten much better and Spain is the golden standard right now. I am hoping Emma will make this one of the priorities and make us better.

@@shawny5338 When Jill Ellis left, I wanted US Soccer to hire a Japanese or Spanish assistant as the USWNT manager. I wanted the new manager to implement a style of football based on possession that can break a low block that most other countries use against the US because of our physical advantage over them. I believe even now, we have the best counter attacking football in the world. Imagine having a physical advantage and a system like a Japan or Spain team.
