To be fair, Fury was quite respectful afterwards aswell. Many top fighters who lose, sometimes don't even go to the press post-fight conference afterwards. Both guys had respect for each other afterwards. What a great fight it was too. Better than I expected to be honest. I thought it could have been a snooze-fest, but both guys gave their all, and had a proper fight. And the right man got the nod too! After the first 2 scorecards were read out, I thought they was going to Rob the fans and Usyk with a poxy draw. But for once, no corruption in the final result.

AJ's team (Rob Mcracken) told him to just keep boxing in the later rounds, just like he had been doing for the first half of the fight. Where he should have rolled the dice, and atleast just try for a knock-out. It probably still wouldn't have worked, but carrying on doing what he was already doing, certainly wouldn't have worked.

What cost him the fight was Usyk answering the critics that think he can’t take big shots - he took everything that Fury threw at him, body shots, uppercuts, and then raised the gears in the second half of the fight, it was an absolutely remarkable display of endurance and skill

This is an old problem with boxing for many years. The Judges and referee are corrupted. All 3 Judge should have give the win to Usyk and the referee should have left Usyk finishing his job to put down Fury for a good night! Epic fight , 9 th did the damage for fury !. One thing I want to mention is that usyk had a cut over his right eye but it didn’t bleed at all ?. Very odd . He had at least 5/6strips over it at the post presser . The cut man was a miracle worker

6:59 ... I felt this was the case at the time but after seeing the footage, this isn't true. The ref actually started the count very rapidly, as soon as he signalled Usyk to the neutral corner. He did seem to delay after the 8 count and kill time there. However, there were only 10s left on the clock at the point of the knockdown, so the bell was actually quite late. Right result though - Usyk is a great champion and the whole Ukrainian team are a credit to their country.

Maybe the fight should have been stopped, but i dont think a long count would have made much difference. Fury was already on his feet, and the bell would have saved him anyway.

Im not sure if Fury can improve 20 per cent on the rematch, he was showboating too much and not pressing the action, he would do a combination and back off, plus he was touching his nose alot in the first round onwards, not sure if there was an issue there. Plus his dad shouting over Sugar Hill. He can make alot of adjustments which i dont see Usyk being able to improve as much, cant wait for the rematch

Well done to Usyk and his team, he and they are class acts....But Furys approach last night really helped them out. He chose to go on the back foot and clown, he handed the inituative to Usyk and it cost him. Fury showed heart and bravery, but his performance tactically was poor. In a rematch I would expect to see the Fury from the 2nd Wilder fight. Bit heavier but in shape, focused and with a seek and destroy mentality. I'd expect him to exact revenge in part 2. Hopefully it happens in October as scheduled and we get to find out.
