It could have, but we have to compare profit margins, not PPV buys to dictate the success of each fight, and given both AJ and Usyk were paid in 8 figures -- while the same can't be said for Fury and Whyte, we know what the truth is. I don't know the exact numbers but I don't believe a Fury-Whyte PPV was more expensive than an AJ-Usyk PPV. If AJ-USyk brought in maybe 3/4 of what Fury-Whyte had, they probably still netted more in profit with their PPV, so whatever Warren said means diddly squat.
