This is so, SO GOOD. It's not a remix, it's a reimagining. Only the core themes are retained from the original, embedded into a gloriously rich and lovingly crafted new setting. I can't believe I didn't discover this sooner. I loved your Deus Ex remixes but never played UT99, so I only listened to a few of those until recently when I listened to the entire original OST on a whim, and became obsessed with Botpack #9. The slow, patient progression punctuated by a repeating lone spacecraft ping gradually drew us into a crescendo plateau of climactic intensity, wistfully echoed by a synth organ reminiscent of almost medieval-gothic memories. I was hooked. And then I found this. You've truly outdone yourself on this one. It's bold, but not frantic. It's measured, but not surgical. It's sprawling, and unbridled, but not reckless or chaotic. The prelude with the recordings (where from, incidentally?) set a gorgeous new context for the melodies, which were cautiously introduced - almost as though the notes were wearing a pair of synthetic gloves, shielded from the sharp percussion backdrop. The phases of the song reconstructed themselves so gently and gradually that its relation to the original almost slipped me by entirely! Your iteration of the track rather conjures ideas of a spacefarer's brief touchdown onto a trade and industry centre on the red planet, equal parts restful and restless before their next foray into the great abyss for their work or greater purpose. While not stranded on a locked orbit in the depths of space like the original, the same feelings of isolation are created from the faintly nostalgic, distinctly familiar cycles of the later drum loops. It's all tied together so magnificently, so detailed yet so succinct, and before I knew it, it was over. Goddamn. I'm going to need to pace myself and relisten to this a few times with speakers and better headphones when I get home next week. But I love this so much. I've done my best to describe why, because it makes me very happy, in the calm, peaceful kind of way that only the best things truly can. Maybe in a few months or years I'll try and examine this in a more articulate way, because for now I totally lack formal musical training, and I'm only vaguely grasping at literary terms to try and reflect on what is so good about this. But wow, just wow. I really hope the original artist has gotten to hear this, I think they'd be just blown away. Great, great work. It's worthy of being called its own track... Botpack #10, maybe!

Just a thought - maybe if you started making some small tutorials showing how you've done some things, much more people would discover your channel? I think showing screencasts from your DAW and even explaining some stuff in text form could help your channel grow. You could also do Livestream from your music-making sessions. You don't need to show your face or voice if you don't want to, and it can still be a nice thing that maybe could push your channel forward.
