Also das ist wirklich ganz großes Kino! Wie gelassen dieses Pferd bleibt, die Übergänge top, hinten geschloßen und der Sitz.... Einfach beispielhaft!!! NIx Totilas Gestrampel.....

what a lovely partnership - lots of spaces in between the movements - lots of freedom - Uta has great bio mechanics - the horse looks super happy - there is no tension - love it
@angelmatagi77766 жыл бұрын
Wow, sorry but I dont know what your watching but its not this black horse...ear's pinned back seeing white of the eyes...you call that freedom with no tension, there is nothing BUT tension in this horse due to no release of the severe pulling & holding of these reins, this is severe pain on the horses nose & face...not to mention the use of spurs & a whip, no excuse for any of this

So beautiful! His movement looks so light, airy and natural! Saw a post from a dressage person saying his moves are "all wrong" for true dressage, but hopefully that will soon change! I love how he is collected, but not overbent or straining painfully to do his work. He just looks so darn happy and relaxed, while still doing complex and beautiful moves! :) Dressage has often left me cold, but this certainly does not!! Thank you!

@Hoovesnaturally I thought everyone responded well. No one was abusive, not by KZbin standards. The purpose of dressage is TRAINING (heck, that's what the word means). To collect properly, lift its withers and engage the hindquarters. All things that are required in all other disciplines. Dressage is practiced by ALL riders in some form. The mirrors are to see your position when riding, because position counts in dressage. They don't do much for ego, trust me.

What an inspiration this rider is! Being willing to go against the conventional ways and gaining beautiful harmony with her horse as a result. I just switched to a cross-under bitless bridle 2 weeks ago and am amazed every single ride how much better my mare is going (and she was already going great). I was wondering if it was possible to do the higher level movements with it, and Uta Graf and Le Noir have given me the most beautiful and eloquent answer possible. Way to go. Great seat too!!!

goes to show that "rein riding" is not necessary - she is able to hold her horse up with her thighs - out in front and together from her abs or core and that her body is kept in neutral - no weight in her feet (notice she has flat feet throughout!) ... there is one transition when the horse just springs into Piaffe and the reins are still long - Contact is not about the contact you have with the horses mouth its the contact you have through out your body with the body of the horse!!! and this also means the mental connection you have with the horse

that is one AWSOME passage!! everythin really! piaffe needs the poll to come higher though as the front's still weighting down and slanting the legs but other than that you're delight to one's eyes! thank you so much for showing the world what can be done bitless! I see absolutely no reason why a bit should be mandatory, isn't the horse's performance the whole point?does not the bitless alow to conform to all the demands of contact, submission, acceptance, etc?really, it's quite beyond me

Beautiful riding as always by Uta, I really do enjoy watching her ride. This horse is wonderfully relaxed, just look at his ears! In a neutral, floppy, listening position the entire time. I am curious, what surface is she riding on? I haven't seen any synthetics like that before, does anyone know?

Beautiful partnership - I wish #Bitless riding was mandatory instead of metal bits especially in Dressage- horses are much more comfortable and full of expression when ridden like this it's as obvious as day this the way to go... ..

@pupa48613 жыл бұрын
Could you please tell me if the horse was trained with bitless from the begginig? Or did you start with "normal" bit and taught him everything with a snafle and candara? Just want to know because I want to ride a young jumper with bitless and I have a lot of "enemis" :) No matter how you did it, here and now you look fantastic.

@slzabinski believe it or not, some horses are happier and more comfortable with shoes... several horses at my barn were lame before shoes, we also have a few quarter horses who were unfortunately bred in that 'smaller feet the better' way and elevator shoes have really helped with soundness and comfort on them, you can tell... they limped around before and couldn't be ridden at all, now they are running in the field, riding level 3 dressage, jumping 4 feet, all happily and willingly...

You are a wonderful ambassador for bitless revolution, Uta. You are very skilled and your horse look willing but you control his forehand with to much hands and overflex the pole of your horse in few occasions, for instance at the piaff your horse is still on his forehand. Allow him to hold his frame and balance on his own so he can use his head and neck as well to switch his weight too his haunches. Keep doing the great work.

I love this! Beautifully ridden, is this a sidepull or a Dr. Cooks, etc...? Anyone know?
@ClarissaStevens9 жыл бұрын
***** oh OK. Have you had experience with the Dr.Cook bridle? I am thinking of buying one for my mare but I have only ever tried riding in a "glorified halter" (where I basically rigged up a bitless rolled cavesson to my regular snaffle bridle) and I did get better thoroughness in the trot and canter but she was quite heavy in it, especially in the walk. Should I still try a Dr.Cooks with the crossunder? Thanks!
@ClarissaStevens9 жыл бұрын
Good advice, I think I'll buy the Beta just because I have heard its easier to take care of than leather. But I have also heard the same thing about the release of the pressure. My mare seems to happily go into "the contact" in the trot with a bitless bridle versus in the snaffle but in the walk she is super braced against it and doesn't want to yield to pressure. (however, I have not tried the actual Dr. Cooks bridle so that could be why). Thanks!
@Rescuepoor11 жыл бұрын
Lovely horse and rider. I use a Dr. cook's bitless and would not go back to a bit. Hopefully, one day the USDF will evolve enough to allow bitless bridles. The horses who are ridden with flash nosebands with their mouths cranked shut are not truly "on the bit". Much of dressage riding is abusive and the horses are not truly in self-carriage.
@Minxie55 жыл бұрын
I think you should be marked down on gadgets. A rider that can do the same test bitless (and I class bitless and no reins ) should be scored higher if they can get the same result with less gadgets
@dragonharte813 жыл бұрын
as the inventor of the original bitless bridle it would be nice if she would use it correctly. Also there is a modification to this bridle. However, it still is a beautiful demonstration.!!!!!!
@userbunny1413 жыл бұрын
@kkkeijjooo actually, some are BORN with bad feet, the horses I'm talking about never had shoes in their lives and were lame, then shoes solved the problem, its called a club foot... hoof boots are not allowed in competition, and YES some Quarter Horses ARE bred to have tiny feet, meaning they can't carry a lot... look it up... I'm not bullshitting... My own horse doesn't have shoes and will never need them as long as I can help it... but I know horses who DO need them...

YE HA - brilliant to see. Will memorise the name next time i get told I need a bit to get my horse moving properly...I was told that to progress from beginner I would need to put a bit in my horses mouth...why ? I dont think BD are saying I am at unfair disadvantage riding bitless, in fact I think they would argue I am at distinct disadvantage. So let me compete at a disadvantage: what harm can it do? compete and loose

I would have to honestly say this beautiful horse would have a sore nose & neck by the time it had finished, I dont think there is any need to yank on the reins so hard, if the horse was happy to do this type of thing it would do it freely if taught properly with time & patience...just IMO
@elizabethhamill516710 жыл бұрын
You don't know what you are talking about. Do you think a horse lifts its back because the rider is "yanking" on he reins? That is physically impossible for the horse. Also, if a horse is yanked in the mouth, the horse either goes behind the bit (behind the vertical) or above the bit. When a horse accepts contact the energy generated by the forward impulsion of the hind legs is captured in the hands of the rider and recycled back to the "engine" of the horse, the hindquarters. The loft of the gaits becomes higher, the horse relaxes in its back and swings through its back. This horse is swinging in its back and moving forward in a relaxed way with good cadence in its gaits. Get on a horse and try to reproduce such work by holding the horse in your hands alone. Impossible. This horse is on the aids, especially the seat aids.
@Minxie55 жыл бұрын
Totally agree! In our world bitless riding is having nothing on the horses head. I wondered why the camera never gets a close up of the gadget on the horses head. Bit of a fraud if you ask me
@Minxie55 жыл бұрын
@@elizabethhamill5167 not sure you know what you are talking about! And Angie did state - IMO , which I am pretty sure means IN MY OPINION !!!!! Any natural horse person can do this ride with just a string around the horses neck - no pressure being applied, no pulling of the reins and no pressure on the horse! They call it bitless but in my world bitless is no reins
