Utah Canyon Exploration Held Very Cool Surprises [4K UHD]

Joe's Hole is a relatively unknown canyon feature in the San Rafael Swell, Utah, while still being a very worthy Adventure. The Canyon has wild variations of Jagged Cap Stone Teeth with Huge Alcoves and Smooth Sculpted Drainages. To top it off, there is a Small Arch and a HUGE Stunning Hole complete with a very Aesthetic Bridge . This hike can be enjoyed simply as a hike with a few bypasses or, for the more Adventurous, as engaging Canyoneering into two of the vertical features: Lew's and Joe's Holes.

While pin pointing your location on GE, I noticed it was just south of the northern most section of The Old Spanish Trail that was first pioneered/explored by the Dominguez-Escalante Expedition and in use during the late 1700s and early 1800s between the Santa Fe region and the LA area in California. Your video shows a minor example of the barriers that were faced and a study of the trail history along with GE sure makes it easy to see why it went where it did. It's hard to imagine the hardships they endured trying to find a better path/route across that incredible part of our country. I've seen a decent amount of Utah in my day, but never cease to be amazed at what I've missed through videos like yours, thanks so much for your effort and for posting.

Fabulous filming and editing. You are the best! You've had some amazing climbs this year. No snow, how fortunate for your adventures. It's been horrible in the Front Range. I'm wondering if we're even going to be able to get to the high places above 13,000 feet?

Honestly, often the real battle is below tree line where the snow never leaves. I'm always looking for a wind scoured ridge for my route above tree line if snow is an issue there. You can do iT!
