Fantasy basketball expert Josh Lloyd's mock draft and tier list, he has Ron Holland at #2 right below Alex Sarr and is in the same tier at Tier 1. I trust Josh Lloyd's judgement when it comes to player scouting. There is a reason why Holland was the #1 prospect last year but bombed his draft position because of his low % Ignite numbers. He is far better than Cody Williams.

David Locke: “I refuse to draft ANYONE smaller than 6ft4in (including guards)…. I refuse to draft anyone smaller than 6ft4in…. I refuse to draft anyone smaller than 6ft4in….” Also David Locke: “The only player on whom I’d be willing to spend assets to move up and draft this year is the 6ft1.5in SG Reed Sheppard.” Gotta love David Locke’s unflinching, steadfast consistency. Now THIS guy is principled!

I really like seeing how Cody Williams and Ron Holland are both sliding a little bit so one of them or both could be available since Tajan Salaun, Donovan Clingan are climbing. I like Topic as well but am more excited about Williams and Ron Holland and either one would be great.

As someone who's lived in Arizona my whole life, it'd be cool if the jazz landed Cody Williams, who went to Perry high school which some of my friends went to

I would take Salaun over both if available. He's big and can shoot, go downhill you name it

How in the HELL is a TOP 4 PROTECTED PICK our best pick??? If the Lakers are bad enough for the pick to become valuable, they can easily become bad enough to keep the #4 protected pick. If they're bad, they will be in need of talent and they are going to need that pick and should easily be able to tank enough to keep it. Now, as potentially _most_ valuable, as in 5-12 range for it? Maybe. Somewhat valuable. But then we also have to assess the chance of a dramatic Cleveland/Minnesota drop off, positively affecting one of our unprotected picks. Such things do happen, and can be hard to predict. After seeing the paths of the last "super teams" (Clips, Nets, Suns, Sixers, etc), I wouldn't be surprised if one of those paid off.

Neither one is projected top 4 anymore.

@@schutzaustin Of course not. But still, our only chances to get better than #5. Except for the unpalatable option of roster depletion and striving for a 20-win season. Which worked so great for Detroit.

Missing layups reminds me of Exum; puppy paws while getting to the rim. That’s the problem with younger players, they haven’t matured physically. I swear Tatum grew a couple inches between his first and second years.

Headline from last night: Luka Doncic’s terrible defense is an anchor weighing down Mavs in NBA Finals Luka needs to get so, so much better defensively.

Ron Holland easily. Cody Williams plays like a perpetual role player. His ceiling is low. He's NOT like his brother if you know anything like them. You'll get the Seth Curry of the two.

Is making layups important? Ricky Green was an All-Star! John Stockton was a Rookie! But he successfully replaced Green in the Playoffs because he could make a layup!
