Sharks fan here. I lived in Utah for most of my life and I’ve waited to see an NHL team there for a long time. I put in a season ticket deposit and I’m super excited to see them play in October! :)

Great to see so much excitement for their new NHL team and will be great for players to play in front of 15K instead of 5K. For what its' worth...Utah Stingers. Utah is the Beehive State.

Reporter didnt even bother to know the Coyotes. Thats Nick Bjugstad carrying his newborn, first to come out. So excited for these kids to be getting an NHL team, young with talent and will only get better. 🙂

Not me. Phoenix is a transplant city. Most of the fans who attended the games were not Coyotes fans but rather of the visiting team and it is them who will miss NHL hockey in the Valley because they won't get to see their hometown teams. But you know what? all those tears were for nothing, because Gary Bettman will bend over backwards to bring this team back and he will at any cost. So don't cry, cuz they'll be back.

I think Utah name should be called Utah Badgers, although it may be linked to a common North American animal. It also represents the word badge, where they're wearing a new face of franchise with a new but old history. Never been seen before in professional sports since the Toronto Blue Shirts to the Toronto HockeyClub

This team has a great upside. Build up the weakest and dont playoff chase for sake of playoffs. Many good building blocks, add in first line center and 2 relieable D, u can see a Nordigue-Avalanche kind of switch
