I rode Frontrunner for the first time. It's really smooth and quiet. The only thing you can hear are the announcements and the horn. That's it

Now imagine arriving in downtown salt lake city via an underground trainbox being welcomed to the city by the historic Rio Grande Depot rather than the dilapidated bathroomless intermodal hub. The Rio Grande Plan is the best solution for SLC for all who use frontrunner and Amtrak. Lets make this plan happen. If you dont know what the Rio Grande Plan is then look up Rio Grande Plan Salt Lake City and tell others about it because it NEEDS to happen if we are going to have a better transit network and city.

I wonder why there were S-70 trains at the Trax Salt Lake Central Station. It's only serviced by the Blue line and the older Siemens trains

This was when the reconstruction of the interchange at Main Street and 400 South was taking place. They used the S70s north of there, switching between the Blue and Green lines, because they theoretically needed less maintenance, which was crucial when they couldn't get back to the shop for a few days.

The horn on the cab car is a very different one than most. I don't know why. The one of the locomotive sounds very normal, though

FrontRunner trains usually sound good, this was probably just a small maintenance issue.
