I'm working on this thing too - I've made it to Emerald Union a couple times, but either it petrifies everyone left or my luck runs out with Parry. I tried getting there and just Parrying for a while (letting Tristan deal the damage), but that tech isn't 100% reliable (maybe at higher levels?). It's parried entire Showstoppers, then failed to block a move the next turn it had just blocked then. Currently grinding up to about 500 HP on Bonnie, Formina, Guinevere, Meow, and Atihana, seeing if that'll let them survive another hit.

Gawd damn you made that look easy! I'm on this right now, and all my guys have like 280-320 HP, and just get absolutely demolished in the second phase by the boss doing his fire and ice AoEs repeatedly. A few lucky times he focused on single target attacks, and I was able to get a few rounds of Showstoppers off on him to get him around 25%, but then he just does Emerald Doors and whoever ain't dead is petrified (and I haven't found a single anti-petrification item all game). I played through with Tsunanori first and his final boss barely put up a fight, and that party had way worse gear and even less HP. Guess there's nothing for it but to grind that red door for a few hours and pray the HP to get enough turns to even just survive the first three turns... which ain't always guaranteed. Honestly... not the first time I've managed to connive my way to the end boss of a SaGa game only to find my party is way underpowered.

I agree the second form is pretty tough but Parry tech might work against his Emerald Union attack though

You mean I've been fighting it on hard mode the whole time? I know the first form is debuffed if you fight it outside of the city, but are you telling me the second form is stronger?
