I run 1.9 prolines km3 predator, vented, and it made a huge difference

Proline 1.55, Injora 1.55, and center rubber strap to reduce unloading on steep inclines and you have a great little performer. That Vitavon looks amazing!

It would be so cool to see a “cheap vs expensive” comparison between this and the 1/18th scale ECX Temper gen2. Very similar platform but you can find them for $160 and under RTR. Love the videos!

I own both and the Capra is more capable. The Temper 2 is very fun but I had issues with driveshafts and axles breaking on mine the replacements were not cheap and there isn't an aftermarket for it.

@@Glowingtomato yea I have no doubt the Capra is better and definitely on the aftermarket side of thing. I have a couple tempers and with some love they do really well. It would be a cool video to see just how much more the Capra performs for people to see if it’s worth the extra 💵

It’s perfect for budget builds and mods, I’ve built all variations of them from comp to 4x4x4 and even built a 6x6 double dually version and even a dedicated UTB18 off road trailer to pull behind them ❤

Check out the 3D inserts from Flub RC. I use them in my 1/24s but now they are making them for pretty much most tire sizes now. Great print quality and customer service as well!

Need help. I have vitavon spindle axles. The 2 mm hex screw sheared off that holds the hex to the axle. Now the hex is on for good. Vitavon sending me replacement screws but I can’t get the hex off. Don’t want to ruin $125 axles by drilling out

Got any pics posted anywhere ? Or post a short video on here showing the issue ? You'll get better advice if we can see the issue clearly. If it's just the wheel hex that is stuck on the spindle then that's an easy cut off and replace the hex job

Put 1.9" wheels and the 3.8" Hot Bodies Rovers on it. The Dlux guys have made one into a mini sporty comp crawler with those tires and their own mods.

FlubRc who makes the anti foams for the 1.0 scx24’s makes 1.5 anti foams for the capra

you can get brass tranny/skidplate , brass front servo mount,steering knuckles/ covers , 8-10mm wide brass hubs , brass upper link mount , all of that for $80 . the diffs are still high up take the shocks off and dremal out what ever touchs untill the drivesafts cant go any vfurther up . injora makes 1.55 alum beadlocks 4 for $30 , mud slinger 1.55 are $26 , 1.55 pitbull rock beast tires $45 , i think best bet is those or a injora 1.0 comp 65x19mm tire $15 for all 4 !

i gotta jus say. dont change tires, thees tires are great. do all brass upfrunt frome axle out. its amazing... im climbing sandstone at like 80 '/. 😂 well maby not 80 but it looks like it! also brass bottom bash plate, to lower center of gravity. thees tires fold and wrap over everything. need sum brass in the back too though, i frunt flip goin down anything more the 7 grade😩

Put proline class 0, 1.9 on mine, 3.8in instead of the stock 3.63in still looks scale

It's not the link that's at fault on that one buddy , it's the RCAWD axle and servo mounting points not matching original spec accurately enough. Vitavon makes parts to fit standard setups and will no doubt release alloy axles that match the original tolerances far better than RCAWD. When these aftermarket companies aren't all singing from the same hymn book there's bound to be compatibility issues now and then , it's nothing new, Especially when you take into account how quickly RCAWD rushed these axles into production.
