how was it not worth it, utsm dps is far worse( 1/2 dps of utcm, also less aoe, except for the scream ), and the only better thing is that it has knockback so you can get further in endless, other than endless, utcm > utsm, but as for your situation, you haven't got too far so you still have to grind more credits, utcm is better for grinding credits ( i know its way more expensive in-match money but its more expensive for a reason )

i'd say UTC is better because UTC does stacked moves, if UTC uses core, he can also use hammer, cannon and railgun at the same time while UTs doesn't stack moves unlike UTC. (No explanation needed for uts)
